Seen, Heard, Said Wednesday

Seen: A loving family saying goodbye to their Father, Husband, Brother and Grandfather. It was the most moving memorial service I have ever been too. The worship at the beginning of the service was so beautiful!! Words can describe the honor I felt just being in the room & celebrating this man's life.

Heard: My friend's daughter telling Addie tonight "Don't play with that basket Addie, it's a decoration" - so her mother's daughter.

Ellia to me "But Mama, you don't take naps, you just drink coffee" - when I told her it was nap time.

Said: Ellia heard me reading to Bill out loud a FB friends comment to another friend, and the comment was "Be nice Asian" so Ellia says "Be nice Asian" Bill and I cracked up cause she has no idea what she is saying....it was so funny. (maybe you had to be there, but trust me it was funny)

Seen:
A woman breast feeding in public - the baby - a Toddler boy who was running around playing & then ran over for a little snack. He had to be at least 3yrs old. She let him crawl on her lap and lifted up her shirt. I was surprised to say the least.


Heard:
The girls splashing in the tub and laughing. How wonderful that was to hear. They are truly becoming such good little buddies.



Said:
‎"Hey mommy I just put on some chapicick" - Where did you get the chapstick from Ellia. "in my craft bucket" - her chapicick = a glue stick

Seen:


Addie eating guacamole. Which by the way Bill and I both do NOT like (unless it's our neighbors). But apparently Addie loves it.









Heard:

Ellia is learning to pray. I tried to post the video, Yes, I recorded her because it is precious to hear her pray & to hear what she prays for. There is a wide range that she prays for, friends, family, Bubba, Addie, her bum bum, her dolls, etc.

However, the other night this was her prayer:

"Dear Jesus, Thank You for my family, my friends, please keep them healfy & safe" - The End, I'm done, Amen"

Said:
Me: "Ellia stop peeking under the stall"

Ellia: "I'm just looking at her shoes mama"

Me: "Well we don't do that honey"


Ellia: "But she has pretty shoes mama"

A girl after her mama's own heart, I love shoes!

Things seen/heard/said around the house this week

Seen:
Ellia with her shirt up and her baby on her stomach. When I asked her what she was doing she replied: "My baby is hungry, I feed her from my boobies"

Heard: "Addie this is your craft I made you"
Addie pushes it away
"Sister, I made you this craft you have to have it"
Addie again pushes it away
"Take it now" and the crying begins because sister wont take the craft she made her

Said: "this is my calcu-phone" - What Ellia calls the calculator that I let her play with, apparently it's her phone too.

"A cheese stick has cheese in it, huh mama" - Why yes it does honey.

"Were you planning on running the whole race? Do you think that is such a good idea?" - this is what Bill said to me after I told him I was thinking of running the Mill Creek 5k dash in July.
Thanks honey for the vote of confidence! (he later explained it better and I wasn't upset anymore at him)

Seen: Ellia dancing with her giant stuffed penguin. Holding the flippers and making it dance with her and go around and around in circles to "Ring around the roses"


Heard: That Ellia really likes to dance but Addie not so much. "And Addie especially doesn't like it when her sister drags her around making her dance." This was told to us by the Sunday school volunteers when we went to pick the girls up from class after church.


Said: "You must share Mama with YaYa" - Ellia telling me I have to share my tuna sandwich with her, after she had already eaten her own lunch. Guess this sharing thing has to be practiced by all of us.

Seen: Ellia running around the house wearing not 1 but 2 ski hats on her head AND a cowboy hat over them.....let's just say her head was very wet from all the sweat when she finally removed them! And when I asked her if she need them all on she said " Yes, mommy they make me look pretty" - well okay then


Heard: Ellia singing in the back seat to my favorite worship CD. It's the sweetest thing to hear her say "Open the eyes of my heart Lord"


Said: "Addie please do not put your fingers in my belly button" - She is fascinated with pulling up my shirt now & rubbing my big belly.

And

I told Bill our friend's husband was getting snipped on Friday....as in no more children for them...and Ellia says "Snip, snip, snip" - We both busted up laughing...where does she come up with this stuff?

Seen, Heard, Said Wednesdays

Seen: Addie picking grass and throwing it up in the air and then shoving some in her mouth. Guess she thinks she's a little cow.

Heard: Addie saying "Quaaaack, Quaaack" while reading a book with ducks in the pictures by herself

Said: "No Mama YaYa is in charge" said to me after I told her "I don't think so little Missy" and she replied with "Yes, I think so"

Seen: Valentines Day movie - it was GREAT!! Laughed & cried just a tiny bit.....so worth the $10.50 ticket and $4.00 red velvet cupcake.


Heard: Ellia telling Addie "No, Addie you not touch, Addie I said no touch" - hmmmm, I don't know where she hears that.


Said: "I want to have this baby but yet I don't want to have him " to my doctor yesterday as she completed my 28week appointment & an exam. To which she replied " I suspect he will make an early appearance like his sisters & come by 36 weeks" YIKES!!! That's only 7weeks from now!
