Sunday was my first official Mothers Day. It started with Bill making me breakfast. Paula Deen's french toast casserole and bacon. (bacon like what was served at Aunt Beth's brunch - rubbed with brown sugar) It was Yummy!!!Bill and Ellia got me some very beautiful cards and a necklace like in the picture. (Not quite as few diamonds) I love it!!
At church our pastor spoke on Mothers and how we wouldn't be here without them. How important they are to us, etc. Bill leans over and says "What about the sperm, children wouldn't be here without the sperm either". I just laughed....I love this man.
After we got home from church Ellia and I took a little nap and Bill's sister Susan came over for lunch. Bill again cooked. This time he grilled steaks, baked potatoes & asparagus. It was sooooo good. After lunch we just chilled out. It was nice lazy afternoon.
Bill not only cooked all day but he did the dishes all day!!!! Cant beat that. I love Mothers Day. To quote Julie, "Mothers Day is better than your birthday" And I would have to agree.
My first Mothers Day was Wonderful!! I have a GREAT husband and a beautiful little girl.
